Our commitment
The Shakedown is working toward conformance with theWeb Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We consider accessibility part of building the site, not a retrofit.
What we do
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading order on every page.
- Descriptive alternative text on content images.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, links, and buttons with visible focus.
- High-contrast typography that reflows and remains readable when zoomed.
- Descriptive link text, so links make sense out of context.
Known limitations
- Third-party advertising served by Google AdSense is outside our control and may not meet Level AA.
- Some product images sourced from manufacturers may have imperfect alternative text. Report any you find and we will fix them.
